Joel Marion has created a weight loss diet product called Cheat Your Way Thin, and it’s gotten a lot of attention around the Internet.  Let’s take an in depth look at the plan and how it works.

Joel has really hit on something here and I think that’s one of the reasons that Cheat Your Way Thin has done as well as it has.  Our body’s natural tendency is to store fat and this is no less true when we go on a diet.

You see when you cut your caloric intake, or you decide to cut out carbs, your body goes into a little bit of panic mode and starts storing all of the fat that it can, working against your dieting efforts.  This is one of the reasons that most diets don’t work.

Your body needs to get certain things and it’s almost like you have to trick your body to a large degree.  See, your body produces a chemical called Leptin.  This chemical dulls hunger and basically tells your body that you’re at the right weight.

When you diet, your body reduces the amount of Leptin created and therefore you feel more hungry than you actually are.  That’s one of the reasons that people have such strong cravings when they’re dieting.  Your body isn’t producing as much Leptin, so your hunger isn’t being dulled.  This ties right into the logic behind Cheat Your Way Thin.

Joel Marion has come up with a great way to get around this and trick your body into thinking that it’s getting everything that it needs.  He accomplishes this by putting you on a cyclical diet where  you’ll have a low carb day, a low glycemic day, and then a high glycemic day.  Then at certain precise intervals, you get to “cheat” for a day and eat whatever you want.

This is where the “cheat” comes into the title of Cheat Your Way Thin.  By having this cheat day, you trick your body into not thinking that you’re on a diet and it will therefore continue creating proper amount of Leptin and you’ll have an easier time resisting those cravings.  Hopefully I’ve made the science in my Cheat Your Way Thin review easy to understand.

One more point is that on a psychological level it won’t be as hard to maintain the diet longer, since periodically you get to have days where you can eat anything that you want to.  This is probably what people love about it most.

Good Ways to Lose Weight and Keep the Weight Off

Finding the right fad diet to deliver the results that you’re looking for when it comes to weight loss is not really the way that you want to go about dropping the pounds.  But rather looking for the life changes that you can make so that you’re able to live a much more healthy life, as well as one that’s going to ensure you maintain a healthy weight is what you really want to do.  That means balancing out the mixture of diet and exercise to perfection, so that you can stay healthy and feel as great as you’re going to look.  There are several good ways to lose weight that you can utilize to help you attain this goal, and it’s all about having the determination to succeed. All of these things should be kept in mind and adhered to, whether you decide to go with Cheat Your Way Thin or not.

First off, you have to realize that it’s always going to take your determination above anything else if you want to succeed.  Anybody can push you in the right direction or give you all the advice in the world.  But if you’re not actually determined to change then it’s not going to be any good to you.  You have to want to get fit, and you have to want to really change how it is that you’re living your life on a daily basis if you really want to succeed.  Anything less and you’re just not going to be able to take your fitness and healthy living to the level that you want in the end.

Tip 1 – Keep a food diary.

This is one of the most simple and yet most effective ways that you can actually take weight off and keep it off as well.  You’re going to find that not enough people really think about what they’re eating, and in turn putting into their bodies.  That’s a problem and you have to give it that thought because that’s when you over eat by not paying attention to what you’re doing.  That’s where writing down every single calorie is going to be incredibly effective at helping you lose the weight.

Tip 2 – Pay attention to your food pyramid.

There’s a reason that the food pyramid has been used for so long, and it’s because it’s the perfect formula to guide you through what it is that you’re going to need to be eating or avoiding throughout the day.  You can always dabble in foods like sweets or fats, it’s just all about moderation and the food pyramid’s exchange system is one of the easiest good ways to lose weight and make real life changes.

Tip 3 – Keep your activity level high.

One problem that many people make when looking for easy tips to lose weight quickly is always going to be not getting enough activity in to go with their weight loss routine.  That’s a huge problem as if you’re creating a calorie deficit through your diet sure you’re going to lose weight for a while, but then your metabolism is still going to slow down.  You have to get your body using and burning that fat, and that’s where you need to get up and get moving.  If you’re not moving around and getting a good amount of activity each day, your body is never really going to change.

Tip 4 – Switch to low calorie drinks throughout the day.

This is one of the easiest ways to ensure that you’re going to be able to take out enough calories to literally cut pounds off of your body each year.  But switching from those high calorie juice and soda beverages to things like tea and water is the best possible way that you’re going to be able to get fit and ensure that you can avoid gaining weight throughout the day with drinks that are just too high in calories to have any real positive benefit on the body.

Tip 5 – Fool your brain.

Make sure that you’re keeping happy but still making changes.  That means still having your favorite foods but making changes to them or eating less of them so that you can maintain the weight loss.  Another one of the best good ways to lose weight is also going to be by using smaller plates when you eat.  Having less food on a larger plate can leave you feeling full because of how empty the plate is.  But fool your brain by using a smaller plate, and you’ll feel fuller with less food in no time at all.

Hi everyone, Laurel here.  Thanks for taking the time to visit and learn about my story.

Less than a year ago, I was the heaviest I had ever been in my life.  I’d tried just about every popular diet but I couldn’t find a plan that worked.  Part of it was my fault because I never stayed committed to anything, but that was the reality of it all and I needed to do something.

Along came Cheat Your Way Thin.  At first I shrugged it off and thought it made absolutely no sense, but it seemed like a nice middle ground between the hardcore diets out there and something that would let me maintain my lifestyle without going crazy.

I decided to give it a shot and the rest of it is history.  This is a great plan, though unconventional.  I’ll warn you in advance by telling you that it still requires dedication, so don’t expect some easy way out.
